Founded in Paris in 1925 by Marcel Rochas, Rochas quickly became known for designs that embodied simplicity and youth. After a period of 40 years of inactivity, where the brand existed as a fragrance house, the fashion collections were relaunched in 1990. In 2013, Alessandro Dell’Acqua was Appointed Artistic Director of Women’s Fashion, and he has brought his elegantly eccentric influence to Rochas, creating a vision of feminine and sophisticated style that is modernizing the brand’s image and identity. But as always, the essential Rochas values remain: a bold spirit, joie de vivre and elegance.
