What keeps pulling you back to Maui? Qu’est-ce qui vous incite à retourner à Maui?
“In Grade 4, my family travelled to Maui for Spring Break and I fell in love immediately—from the smell of the warm air when you get off the plane, to the salty water and the spirit of Aloha. Fast forward many years and I returned with my boyfriend, who was equally enchanted. Years later we got married at the Haiku Mill. I’ve experienced both my happiest days and some of my greatest challenges in Maui—like cycling from sea level to the summit of the Haleakalā volcano at 3,055 m altitude.” « Quand j’étais en quatrième année, nous sommes allés à Maui en famille pour la relâche et j’ai craqué pour la chaleur de l’air dès ma sortie de l’avion, l’eau salée et l’esprit Aloha. Plusieurs années plus tard, j’y suis retournée avec mon amoureux qui a été tout aussi enchanté que moi. Quelques années plus tard, nous nous sommes mariés au Haiku Mill. J’ai vécu mes plus beaux moments et certains de mes plus grands défis à Maui, comme le fait de pédaler du niveau de la mer jusqu’au sommet du volcan Haleakalā, à 3 055 m d’altitude. »
Iceland Islande

What made you fall in love with Iceland? Qu’est-ce qui vous a fait craquer pour l’Islande?
“Iceland feels like a whole different world! The landscape is like nothing I have experienced before; the mountains, the waterfalls, and the glaciers are so big, they make almost everything else feel insignificant. I’m not a big outdoorsy person—especially in the cold—so I was hesitant about exploring Iceland in the winter, but I was so blown away I didn’t even notice the weather. And there’s always the Blue Lagoon for a geothermal spa day. It’s so relaxing and is a great way to open or close your Iceland experience.” « L’Islande, c’est un tout autre univers! Les montagnes, les chutes et les glaciers sont si impressionnants qu’ils rendent presque tout le reste insignifiant. Je ne suis pas une grande amatrice de plein air, surtout par temps froid, et j’hésitais donc à explorer l’Islande en hiver, mais j’ai été si émerveillée que je n’ai même pas remarqué le climat. De plus, il ne faut pas oublier de passer une journée au spa géothermique Blue Lagoon. C’est tellement apaisant. Je trouve que c’est l’endroit idéal pour amorcer ou conclure un voyage en Islande. »

What keeps you coming back to Peru? Qu’est-ce qui vous incite à retourner au Pérou?
“I fell in love with Peru a few years back visiting designers and artisans for work, and I cannot wait to return. Not only is Lima strikingly beautiful, with sand dunes rolling into the ocean surf, but it is also rich with art, design, and incredible food. The country as a whole has such a wonderful culture. There is beauty everywhere.” « Il y a quelques années, j’ai succombé au charme du Pérou en visitant des créateurs et des artisans pour le travail, et je suis impatiente d’y retourner. En plus d’être d’une beauté époustouflante avec ses dunes de sable qui se jettent dans l’océan, la ville de Lima regorge d’art, de design et d’une gastronomie incroyable. Le pays dans son ensemble affiche une culture merveilleuse. La beauté y est omniprésente. »

What intrigues you about Miami? Qu’est-ce qui vous fascine à Miami?
“Sunshine, ocean, and fresh orange juice: the formula for a perfect escape. Miami is also a feast for the eyes. From the old Art Deco buildings to the shiny new shops, every detail has been carefully thought out to offer a fully immersive experience. And let’s not forget the fashion!
