This spring, Holt Renfrew’s H Project, led by Alexandra Weston, has partnered with rag & bone, the New York-based brand with a reputation for downtown cool, to create a collection of sporty totes that benefit the organization Right To Play. Founded over a decade ago, Johann Koss’ Right To Play brings awareness to the importance of play in a child’s life. Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, the designers behind rag & bone, are both fathers of young children and the organization’s mantra, which stresses that a child’s right to play is just as important as their right to food and shelter, hit home for the duo. They designed the totes with the spirit of play and surfers of the ’60s and ’70s in mind. “This is the first time we have made totes in our signature numbers style and we are delighted they will benefit such a great cause,” said Wainwright.
The versatile spring canvas totes, available in black, cream and olive, will go on sale in Holt Renfrew locations across Canada on May 9th. Each purchase of the limited edition tote (retailing at $55) will help Holt Renfrew achieve its goal of raising $100,000 dollars for the organization Right To Play.
