About H Project

In May 2013, Holt Renfrew launched H Project—a specialty department exclusively dedicated to carrying socially responsible products that are ethically and sustainably made. While still being on trend and true to Holt Renfrew, H Project offers extraordinary products with extraordinary stories.

Curated from around the world, every product in H Project has to fit within our criteria, showcasing a form of economic benefit, environmental benefit or social benefit. Whether they meet all three, or just one, products chosen by H Project are all socially responsible by way of where they are made, by whom, with what materials, and how they give back. We want to target the issues surrounding economy and society, and sell products that create a deeper brand essence and a story we can all be proud of. 

With our Uncrate a Culture program, we also support culture and artisans from around the world. Every year, we partner with designers to focus on a particular culture that relies heavily on traditional craftsmanship as a form of livelihood. The chosen continent’s culture, craft, and artisans are then encapsulated through a collection of socially responsible fashion, accessories, homewares and cosmetics.

The height of luxury is to have a well-made, beautiful product, but to own a product where you know exactly who touched it, how many hands, their stories, and what materials were used, you become part of their extraordinary experience and story – H Project gives you that opportunity.
