Charitable Product Give-Back Program

With a focus on raising funds and bringing awareness to meaningful causes, our Charitable Product Give-Back program leverages our most valued vendor relationships to offer Holt Renfrew customers exclusive, limited-edition items, where a portion of all proceeds go to benefit a charity or non-profit organization. We feature one or two charitable products annually and over the last six years, have collaborated with 16 brands to raise nearly $1 million  for 16 charities and non-profit organizations around the world. As a business, we support and rally behind our give-back programs with fully integrated campaigns to increase cause awareness and fundraising efforts.

Charitable Shopping Events

Through our Charitable Shopping Events, we are proud to raise funds for a variety of local, national, and global initiatives, where charities and organizations can offer their membership base a private luxury shopping experience at Holt Renfrew.

Employees Taking Action

Empowering our associates to give back to their local communities is an important part of our culture, and vital to not only showing our support for each other, but also to those outside of Holt Renfrew as well.

 

Magenta Month

Each year, our associates participate in Magenta Month, where we dedicate 30 days to volunteering and fundraising within our communities. From food drives to clothing drives, associates raised and donated more than $27,000 and volunteered countless hours to local charities and non-profit organizations in communities across Canada in 2017.

Shoebox Project for Shelters

During the holiday season, we proudly support the Shoebox Project for Shelters, a registered charity that collects and distributes gifts in the form of shoeboxes to women who are homeless, or at-risk of homelessness. Since 2012, our associates have packed, wrapped and donated more than 6,100 shoeboxes for women in communities across Canada.

CSR Champions

We established CSR champions across our business to help drive associate awareness and engagement in CSR initiatives and programs focused on the environment, community giving and health and wellness.

Local Donations and Sponsorship

At Holts we welcome the opportunity to partner with organizations and charities in communities we operate in. For donation requests please submit an email to donations@holtrenfrew.com. Requests for funding are reviewed by our evaluation committee on a monthly basis. Please allow 60 days for a response.

Funding will be considered for the following:

  • Canadian organizations, projects, and programs that are affiliated with a registered charity
  • Organizations that are federally registered with the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency
  • Projects or programs that take place in communities where Holt Renfrew has a store
  • Requests received more than 60 days in advance of the event
  • Activities that are open to those of all faiths, or are engaged in a significant project benefiting the entire community
